Wrestling is a combat sports involving grappling-type techniques such as clinch fighting, throws and takedowns, with pins and other grappling holds. Wrestling is an international sport. Wrestling comes in different forms such as Freestyle, Greco-Roman, and Folkstyle. A wrestling bout is a physical competition, between two competitors or sparring partners, who attempt to gain and maintain a superior position.
The difference between Wrestling is that the goal of Wrestling is to win via pin whereas the goal in BJJ is to win via submission. In Wrestling the goal is the top position but in BJJ there is equal focus on the top and bottom position. Wrestling has a greater focus on stand-up grappling and BJJ has a greater focus on ground grappling.
We have classes for all ages and skill levels. We have a 6-12 years Primary class, and our adults’ classes which are 13 years and up.
